Centaur Health was founded in 2004 as Centaur Therapeutics by Michele Schutt, shortly after graduating from the American Institute of Massage in Richmond, VA. The Centaur was chosen because of the strength and integrity it represents and as a way to merge her love of horses with the profession she loves.

In 2006 Centaur Therapeutics became Centaur Health when a line of natural health, cleaning and beauty products were added to the products and services offered. As our slogan states we don't feel it's enough to just live, we should live well and living well begins with a healthy lifestyle.
